I'm Jeff and I'm the Porter half of Porters and Palettes. I feel very lucky that I have found a new home here in Colorado, right in the middle of a exciting craft beer scene. I wanted to write about the beers I try because every one is a unique experience, even if it's a type of beer I've had before, because everyone's take on that style will still be different. Those individual differences are very appealing to me and are what have kept me interested in beer and brewing through the over twenty years I've been a beer drinker.
Though I really can enjoy any type or style of beer, some of my favorite include beers from Rogue Brewery, Saddlebock from my home state of Arkansas, and one of my favorites from Colorado, Great Divide. Though I do tend towards the darker and stronger, I really enjoy seasonal drinking. Cider in the fall, a light weizen in the summer, and so on. I would hope that my reviews help to encourage others to try new things and to not get stuck in a rut.

Well hello there. I'm Haley and I'm the palette part of this blog. I am an artist who loves to dabble in graphic design. I'm constantly amazed by the art used on beers labels (especially in the craft beer scene) and I'm so glad to be able to discuss them here now.
I am also a beer drinker myself, but I must admit I prefer the lighter beers and shandies in particular.
